A team of dedicated teachers with the shared belief of good schooling are a part of the JSS PS family to enrich the experience of our little learners and promote their Well-being.
Our teachers make sure that the activities are suited to each child’s unique needs and provide them through a range of hands-on activities, be it onsite or online. Through small group teaching and structured planning all learners are engaged and provided opportunities for deeper learning.
In addition to academic learning, regular activities like Class Assemblies, Read Aloud session, Rhyme Time, Music and Dance sessions and various celebrations like Mother’s day, World Tourism Day, Peace Day add to the rich range of opportunities to our students. Classroom experiences are further enhanced through virtual field trips and experiential learning. Extra-Curricular activities like Weekend Challenges, Music Masti and Scintillating Saturdays are organized for the whole family to cater to the Well- being of our students.
In Kindergarten, assessment plays an integral part in a child’s learning. It helps the teachers to measure progress and plan activities according to the needs of the student.
Following the continuous assessment pattern, the students are assessed in all the seven areas of learning and the progress is shared with the parents through regular parent teacher meetings. Teachers observe the students on a regular basis and assess them through various assessment tools like mind map, KWL chart, anecdotal remarks and work samples.
